Why This Site Exists

Rooted in Scripture is a personal record of Bible study — verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and book by book.

The aim is simple: to read carefully, observe what the text says, ask honest questions, and reflect on how Scripture speaks to faith, life, and obedience.

These notes are not polished sermons or academic commentaries. They are working notes — the kind of reflections you might write in the margin of your Bible, return to later, or talk through with a friend over coffee.

For now, most studies follow the flow of a passage or book. Each note may include an overview, observations from the text, key words or repeated ideas, cross-references, questions, and personal reflections. Later, this may also grow into themed studies or short series.
